About Fancy:
I don’t even know where to begin with this incredible girl. Fancy is a true momma's girl, and it’s rare to see me without her by my side. She has a wonderfully calm and serene demeanor, but when she’s playing with the other poodles, you’ll catch her having the wildest, fastest zoomies! Fancy is confident yet gentle, and she has an adventurous spirit, as long as I am there to adventure with her. Her kind heart and joyfulness bring warmth and love to our lives every day. We are extremely blessed to have Fancy in our family!

About Fancy's Unique Pattern
"Fancy Merle"
*Fancy and her puppies are often the center of conversation and it’s easy to see why! Their eye catching and unique appearance brings a lot of curiosity, and with that, plenty of questions. So here’s what we know so far:
First and foremost, Fancy and her puppies are NOT double merles, and we do not have any double merles in our program. None of them experience hearing or vision issues. Fancy has been color tested as S/S, meaning she is not parti and does not carry the parti gene, even though she has a significant amount of white on her coat.
Interestingly, the two pups we’ve kept from Fancy have both tested as S/sp, meaning they carry the parti gene, but are not parti themselves, which they inherited from their sire who is S/sp. Fancy and her offspring have been BAER tested
This striking and unusual pattern has only been seen in a small handful of poodles worldwide. Fancy is one of the few poodles known to consistently produce it, and that makes her (and her pups) truly exceptional.
Until more is known and we are able to 100% confirm what this pattern is, we are calling it "Fancy Merle." It is NOT a genetic or scientific term, more so a descriptive term. While the genetics behind it aren't fully understood yet, we’ve been working closely with geneticists and have developed some promising theories. It's believed this look may result from:
- A combination of the whitehead gene and merle.
- An untestable spotting/piebald gene working with merle
- Or possibly both working together
FUN UPDATE: Fancy, Bachelor, Muse and a handful of other offspring from Fancy are currently being studied for their unique coat colors/pattern through Georgia Canine Genetics Laboratory. We are excited and will post results as soon as they come in!

Let me tell you about our Allyn! She is quite the character! This girl is our class clown and she sure keeps life fun and interesting. Allyn is a tomboy (hence the name) but also a sensitive, loving, and very well-mannered girl. Upon bringing her home, we had a cute, girly name picked out for her, and we quickly realized it didn’t suit her. “Allen” started as a joke, but it actually fit her personality perfectly, so it stuck with a slight change in spelling.
When I first saw a picture of this striking red parti girl, I wasn’t actively looking for a puppy, but there was an undeniable feeling I couldn't shake about needing this puppy! I decided to inquire further, and much to my delight, I discovered that our dams, Bindi and O'Hara, are her aunts.
